So proud of you all.
But before we get to it, let's spend some time discussing the ins and outs of the UGM IUP.
Universitas Gadjah Mada has a specific selection program known as the International Undergraduate Program (IUP). This program is in addition to the national selection (SNBP/SNBT) and the Independent Selection (UM UGM PBU/UM UGM CBT).
IUP UGM aspires to satisfy the criteria of international exposure, enrichment and enhancement of knowledge, the capacity to adapt to different cultures, skills in foreign languages, job prospects, and serving as an added value in a single study program.
When students take part in the IUP UGM, it is expected of them that they would be able to fulfill all types of academic standards on a global scale. The IUP Program provides for international exposure, which includes the following:
1. An academic program that is offered internationally (double degree or joint degree).
Secondly, internships in other countries;
3. The interchange of students from other countries;
4. Conduct research with partners from other countries;
5. The implementation of learning with institutions that are partners of UGM in other countries, and/or
6. Other forms that can enable enrichment of worldwide knowledge and experience.
Depending on the course of study, the selection process for the UGM IUP includes distinctive prerequisites. On the other hand, in general, it may be broken down into two categories: medicine (IUP in medicine) and non-medicine (studies that are conducted in a manner that makes use of several disciplines).
IUP Medicine is the international program that is offered by the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FK-KMK) at the UGM.
In the IUP Medicine Selection Program, the following types of materials are frequently put through their paces:
1) The Academic English Proficiency Test, often known as the AcEPT.
2) Gadjah Mada Scholastic Test, often known as GMST.
3) The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) is the third option.
4) Situational Judgment Test, often known as SJT.
5) Interview (in the English).
Note:
Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Leaderless Group Discussions (LGD) are two types of supplementary examinations that may be administered on occasion.
In addition to the selection exam, there are a number of other criteria that must be met in order to apply for the UGM Medical IUP. These specifications include the creation of a Motivation Letter, Curriculum Viate, Self Reflection, and the completion of the Informed Consent form (if you are successful in the selection stage).
The following are examples of materials that are often evaluated as part of the IUP Selection Program with the exception of the UGM Faculty of Medicine:
1) The Academic English Proficiency Test, often known as the AcEPT.
2) Gabjah Mada Scholastic Test, often known as GMST.
3) Essay test (also known as written test).
4) Interview (in English).
